Introduction to my very academic blog!

Hello, I am Heather, and I am known as a 'greenwashing guru'; I am currently a fourth-year student at the University of the West of Scotland, and I have recently been nominated as a finalist as the Star Marketing student of 2024! 

I have based a lot of my work throughout my last four years at university on substantiality, green marketing, and greenwashing, and I have to say it is a very interesting and current topic for today's consumers. 

This blog's aim is to make greenwashing simple, define what it is and where it happens the most, and investigate whether UK consumers are even knowledgeable about the claims that are happening.

This blog will provide academic descriptions, images, YouTube links and my own views on certain issues! It will also provide links to academic papers, so if you would like to do more research on this topic – please go ahead!
